On April 26, 2014, Ms. Bonita Hwang Cho spoke at a leadership forum held at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago entitled “Expanding Our Community’s Definition of Success.” The forum was sponsored by the Council of Korean Americans, the Korean American Bar Association, the Korean American Coalition of Chicago, the Korean American Association of Chicago, and Kollaboration Chicago. Ms. Hwang Cho’s panel was entitled “The Legal Profession in Today’s World: Different Paths to Success.”

On February 6, 2014, Ms. Bonita Hwang Cho was a speaker at the American Bar Association’s Midyear Meeting held at the Swissotel in Chicago. She addressed the Section of State and Local Government Law in a panel entitled, “Hot Topics in Diversity Law.”

On October 26, 2013, Ms. Bonita Hwang Cho was on a keynote panel discussion at the Korean American Bar Association of Chicago’s 20th Anniversary banquet held at the Union League Club in Chicago. The panel covered topics including members’ Korean heritage and history.

On March 15, 2013, Ms. Bonita Hwang Cho was a moderator at the 2013 Midwest Regional Conference for the American Immigration Lawyers Association Chicago Chapter. The conference took place at the Chicago Hilton & Towers in Chicago. The panel was entitled, “Marriage-based Potpourri: CSPA, Admission, Consular Processing, VAWAs, the U and False Claim Issues.”

At this conference for Korean American women and girls, Ms. Hwang Cho spoke on a panel entitled, “Balancing Act – Family/Career/Service & Continuing Education.”
